Bringing Together Art and Science to Inspire Conservation for the Environment

Environmental interpretation and education are foundations of stewardship, for which we provide the storytelling, artistry, graphics, and design to engage targeted audiences. Our artists use a variety of media to communicate via paint, watercolor, photograph, iron, wood and more. With landscape architects and restoration specialists on our team, we can also enhance the venues you want to present. Our team of scientists ensures accurate, up-to-date, and engaging stories of the natural world.

KEY PROJECT

City of San Diego Orchid Award: Interpretive Signs for Chollas Heights

To educate residents of new homes built adjacent to a habitat preserve, we designed, supervised production for, and installed a set of 29 interpretive signs along a trail system. The signs highlight both the environmental and cultural heritage of the site. Client: U.S. Navy.

Chesapeake “Fish Tales” Artistic Gate: Celebrating San Diego Bay as a Working Bay and Healthy Ecological Nursery

In partnership with Chesapeake Fish Company, the U.S. Navy and Port of San Diego, we provided an artistic rolling gate to replace a chain link fence at Chesapeake Fish Company, neighbor to Sea Port Village. While fish are unloading, the gate keeps visitors at a safe distance, projecting the rich natural resources of San Diego Bay and the stewardship of its managers.
